The demand for secure IoT solutions is surging. In response, TAC Security is tackling the pressing need for robust IoT security measures. The IoT market is booming, with projections estimating 25.4 billion connected devices by 2030 and a staggering market value of $59 billion. Such rapid growth underscores the urgent necessity for rigorous security assessments, particularly in sectors like smart cities and healthcare, where vulnerabilities can have far-reaching consequences.

TAC Security has positioned itself as a leader in managing IT, OT, and IoT risks. Boasting over eight certifications in vulnerability assessment, the company offers a comprehensive approach to tackling modern security challenges. “IoT devices are a cornerstone of our digital future, yet they remain highly vulnerable to cyber threats,” said Saransh Rawat, TAC’s Chief Technology Officer, highlighting the critical importance of safeguarding these devices.

Recently, TAC InfoSec achieved a significant milestone: becoming an ioXt Authorized Lab. This recognition allows TAC to conduct IoT Security Assessments under the ioXt Certification Program. Notably, it is one of only eight companies worldwide with this capability. This achievement bolsters TAC’s credentials and underscores its commitment to driving innovation in a fast-evolving market.

Trishneet Arora, TAC Security’s Founder and CEO, expressed pride in the accomplishment. He emphasized the advanced techniques involved, such as firmware analysis and chip-level security testing, describing this milestone as a testament to TAC’s dedication to global security standards. “This recognition validates our efforts to protect the connected ecosystem and paves the way for even greater innovation,” Arora remarked.

The ioXt certification is a game-changer. According to Rawat, it equips TAC Security to ensure manufacturers meet rigorous international security standards, reinforcing its pivotal role in enhancing IoT security across industries.

TAC Security’s global footprint is expanding rapidly. In the past year, the company onboarded 331 new clients across 42 countries, bringing it closer to its target of 3,000 clients by March 2025. With a certification portfolio that includes ISO 17025, Google CASA Assessor, and CREST Certified Penetration Testing Company, TAC has firmly established itself as a trusted name in cybersecurity.

Looking ahead, TAC plans to integrate its advanced IoT assessments into the ESOF Vulnerability Management Portfolio. This new offering, set to launch in February 2025, aims to solidify TAC’s market presence. By March 2026, the company aspires to serve 10,000 global customers, a testament to its ambition and vision for the future.
